Therapy Without Insurance

Therapy on Your Terms

At Sunrise Counseling Services, we understand that healing looks different for everyone. For some, using insurance is the right path. But for others, the freedom of self-pay makes therapy more private, flexible, and empowering.

When you choose to pay directly, you’re choosing care that’s guided only by you and your therapist, not by insurance limitations.

Why Some Clients Choose Self-Pay

  • Privacy & confidentiality – no diagnosis or record shared with insurance

  • No limits – session length and frequency based on your needs, not policy restrictions

  • Specialized services – including couples therapy, trauma-focused care, and workshops that insurance often doesn’t cover

  • Flexibility – easier scheduling, evening and weekend availability, and the option for longer sessions if needed

Our Commitment to Trauma-Informed Care

Every therapist at Sunrise Counseling is trained in trauma-informed approaches. We also invest in ongoing professional training and advanced certifications, ensuring that you receive the highest level of care.

Whether you’re seeking support for anxiety, family stress, or deep trauma work, our team understands how to create a safe and supportive space.
