The goal is not to eliminate negative feelings but to learn to hold them lightly”

As a counselor, I see therapy as an opportunity to explore and understand yourself on a deeper level. It’s often easy to get stuck in unhelpful patterns without realizing it. In the therapeutic space, I aim to be a grounding presence, helping clients uncover insights that can lead to lasting change. By fostering genuine connection and offering a compassionate, yet challenge-focused environment, I guide individuals toward breaking through mental blocks and finding their truest, most fulfilled selves.

My Why:

What drives me is the power of self-discovery and change. I find deep purpose in helping others identify the patterns and behaviors that are holding them back—whether it's in their thoughts, actions, or emotional responses. My role is to be the person who helps clients break free from unhealthy cycles and create new, more empowering ways of being.

On a Personal Note:

I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada until I made the leap to Tennessee just over a year ago. The trade off from the desert for the beautiful, lush greenery here has been a welcome change! Outside of my work and studies, I enjoy spending time in nature with my puppy and partner, getting creative in the kitchen (especially baking sourdough), and losing myself in a good book. I believe in finding inner harmony by pushing myself to grow and challenge my limits while also giving myself the time to recharge and reflect.

Areas of Specialty & Therapeutic Approach:

I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my approach to support clients in reframing negative thoughts and breaking out of detrimental behavior patterns. I especially value mindfulness-based interventions, including breathing exercises, meditation, and other mind-body connective practices, to help clients ground themselves and create a sense of calm and clarity. I enjoy working with youth clients from children to young adults, but I am open to working with all types of clients. I also have a background and passion for working with individuals with disabilities.
