“There’s no place like home.” To me, therapy is about helping you discover what “home” means for you—within yourself and your life.

Life can feel overwhelming when you are carrying grief, navigating trauma, or trying to make sense of where you are and where you are headed. You may find yourself searching for clarity, purpose, or even a sense of “home” without fully knowing what that looks like yet. Therapy can be a space where you feel seen, validated, and supported as you begin to understand yourself more deeply and move toward meaningful change.

I work with individuals who are navigating grief, trauma, life transitions, and emotional challenges. My approach focuses on empowering clients, validating their experiences, and helping them find solutions that truly work for them. My goal is to support you in a way that helps you grow, build confidence, and ultimately not feel dependent on therapy long term.

On a Personal Note:

I have been in the mental health field for over 25 years, beginning as a youth case worker and later working with adults before becoming a licensed therapist in 2009. My path has not been traditional, and that lived experience allows me to connect with clients in a genuine and relatable way.

I often describe my role as similar to being a guide. Just as an usher or even an elf helping others find their way, I see therapy as a space where I walk alongside you while you discover yourself. Clients are not here to find me—they are here to find themselves, and I am here to support that journey.

Outside of the office, I enjoy gardening, working with yarn, and continuing to practice patience and slowing down to enjoy life.

I would be honored to walk alongside you as you explore your experiences, build insight, and move toward a place that feels more grounded, meaningful, and true to who you are.
