My Perspective & Why I Became a Therapist
I believe that every person has the capacity to create meaningful change, even when life feels overwhelming. In my work, I strive to provide a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their challenges, discover their strengths, and build skills to navigate life with greater confidence. My goal is to walk alongside you, offering tools, perspective, and encouragement so you feel empowered to take the steps needed toward growth and healing.
My “why” for becoming a therapist stems from witnessing the mental health challenges within my community, especially the lack of access, support, and the heavy stigma surrounding seeking help. I believe healing involves finding harmony between the mind, body, and soul. Everyone deserves to be healthy, seen, and supported on this journey called life.
On a Personal Note
Outside the office, I enjoy cooking, spending quality time with family and friends, and caring for my many plants. A couple of quirky things about me: I love international films and watch them without subtitles so I can guess the plots. I also sing karaoke using an autotune mic that makes me sound like a chipmunk. It’s hilarious and brings me joy. Above all, I love to laugh.
